Illinois Women Land Top 35 Transfer Prospect Shay Bollin

Illinois women's head coach Shauna Green and her staff continue to make waves this offseason, getting a commitment Tuesday afternoon from Duke transfer Shay Bollin.

The 6'3" wing/center provides another badly needed front court piece for a program coming off its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2013.  In talking with Big Ten television analyst Meghan McKeown, she said, "Illinois is a good team, but they could use some depth in the front court."

Finally, after three tries, Illinois men's coach Brad Underwood landed Quebec City, Quebec (Canada) wing Quincy Guerrier. He has been recruited hard by the Illinois staff; this should show fans what Underwood thinks of Guerrier.

Guerrier committed to Syracuse, then transferred to Oregon, and, now as a graduate student, Underwood finally landed his guy with the help of assistant coach Tim Anderson.
