CHAMPAIGN — Chester Frazier is leaving the assistant coach position at his alma mater to join the first-year staff led by West Virginia’s new head coach Darian DeVries.
IlliniGuys.com can confirm Frazier has agreed to end his tenure as an assistant coach to Illinois head coach Brad Underwood to become an assistant coach at West Virginia. The move comes nearly one month away from Frazier being in Champaign three full years after joining the staff in May 2021 of the program where he played from 2006-09.
