CHAMPAIGN, IL. – GameDay Saturday brings the nation's 19th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks to campus, giving the Illini a chance to redeem themselves from last year's 34-23 loss in Lawrence, Kansas.

Not only is the game sold out for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff, but it’s also a "Hail to the Orange Out"—all fans are encouraged to wear orange for Saturday's game. The Illinois coaching staff knows this matchup is significant on several levels, with the future of the program potentially in attendance.

During Green's introductory press conference, she shared her vision for the program and what it would take to achieve it. "I want to recruit the state of Illinois. There's a lot of talent here. We want them to know Illinois is a place you can go to win games and championships," Green said.
