Illinois Football Receives Commitment from NC State Transfer Alex McLaughlin

Alex McLaughlin decided on Tuesday to gamble on himself.
The redshirt sophomore left North Carolina State - where he was a teammate of Devin Leary, the brother of Illini QB Donovan Leary - via the transfer portal and will land at Illinois this fall.
The 5-foot-10, 225 pound long snapper visited the Champaign-Urbana campus last Thursday and told us here at IlliniGuys why he committed.
