At the Dallas Under Armor Association Session II Tournament, I had a chance to catch up with Jaden Schutt. His last name sounds like what he does - and believe me Jaden can shoot. The 6'5" wing plays his AAU ball for the Illinois Wolves. During the school year, his high school team is Yorkville Christian High School.

The Illini coaches were out in force during the first live weekend, seeing players in Atlantic City Dallas, Birmingham and Atlanta as they try to fill out their 2022 recruiting class, while also targeting the biggest recruit of all, both literally and figuratively. Here’s a look at some players they watched and our thoughts on their games and recruitments. Here’s part 1.

At the Great American Shoot-Out in Duncanville, TX, I was able to catch up with Houston Hoops EYBL 17 star Cameron Corhen. At 6'10" and with broad shoulders, Corhen is impossible to miss when he's on the court. As per usual, the well coached Houston Hoops team crushed their competition on the way to a convincing win even while using their bench liberally in the last 8 minutes of each half.
