The Illini moved to 4-0 in the Big Ten and 11-3 overall with a 76-64 win over Maryland on Thursday night behind a monster performance from Kofi Cockburn and a Trent Frazier 2nd half heater.
After a fast start and a 21-7 Illini lead, Kofi Cockburn picked up his second foul. The Terps took advantage and turned a 14 point deficit into a 4 point halftime lead with Cockburn sidelined. This is a Terrapin team that came in with confidence, having won 4 in a row in the State Farm Center and Illini fans felt like ti was more of the same.
