I know no one likes to hear about moral victories, but I have to say this was one. Penn State is an excellent team. One of the clear favorites to be in the college football playoff at the end of the season, yet Illinois hung with the Lions in a packed and loud Beaver Stadium and had a real chance to win. Illinois isn't as talented on the hoof as Penn State and that was the difference in the game, but I was pleased to see that . . .
