CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – It’s going to take a bit of time for Illini fans to get used to the name and face Casey Thomann, but if family ties and head coach Bret Bielema’s recruiting tendencies are anything to go by, it might be worthwhile to keep an eye on 2028 center Jack Thomann.

Jack is the younger brother of Casey, an incoming Illinois freshman offensive lineman. He was in Champaign last week for Illinois’ Big Man Camp, which hosted a large group of high . . .
