News: Aaliyah Guyton Leaves the Hawkeye State to Come Home and Play for the Illini

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women’s basketball head coach Shauna Green will tell you that early in her tenure with the program, she heavily recruited Aaliyah Guyton, attending several of her games in hopes of bringing the star Peoria prepster to Champaign.

It's a year later than Green had hooped, but Guyton is finally joining the Illini, making her announcement today after spending her freshman season at Iowa.
