CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Fresh off Illinois’ 21-17 victory over South Carolina in the 2024 Citrus Bowl, head coach Bret Bielema continues to make waves on the recruiting trail. His latest victory came closer to home, securing a commitment today from 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior wide receiver Davon Grant of DeKalb, Illinois.

Grant, a standout dual-sport athlete who also stars on the basketball court, committed to the Illini despite heavy interest from Big Ten rivals . . .
