CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois head football coach Bret Bielema has steadily elevated the Illini’s perception both on the recruiting trail and on the field.

That progress has translated into the ability to attract high-profile prospects, particularly at the skill positions, as Illinois continues to modernize its offensive identity.
