Illinois Sophomore Transfer Divine Bourrage Growing Daily to be Herself Again After Leaving LSU

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Summer school and summer workouts are complete at Illinois, and for sophomore transfer Divine Bourrage, the past two months have been about much more than basketball.

They have been about getting comfortable, rebuilding confidence and, perhaps most importantly, becoming herself again.

Bourrage, a 5-foot-11 combo guard and wing who transferred to Illinois after spending her freshman season at LSU, arrived in Champaign in June. Her mother, Leanne Binion, has watched closely as her daughter has adjusted to a new program, coaching staff and environment.
