Illini QB Draft Streak Reaches Two Dozen Years - Luke Altmyer Goes Undrafted & Signs With Detroit

Illinois quarterback Luke Altmyer goes undrafted in 2026 NFL Draft. Illini still haven’t had a quarterback selected in NFL draft since Kurt Kittner in 2002. Altmyer signed a free agent tryout deal with the Detroit Lions.
