CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – For years, high-major programs across the country routinely pulled elite talent out of Chicago powerhouse Whitney Young Magnet High School while Illinois struggled to keep those players home. Illinois coach Shauna Green finally changed that narrative with the signing of standout point guard Destiny Jackson, and the freshman rewarded that faith with one of the best debut seasons in program history.
