Illinois head coach Bret Bielema stressed Saturday the move of former four-star signee Jacob Eberhart was temporary for the 2026 season but wouldn’t rule out making it permanent.

CHAMPAIGN — While his head coach verbally compared it similarly to a limited-time car or housing contract, rookie Jacob Eberhart has been moved from defense to offense.
