For the 2nd time in as many days and the 4th time in this offseason, a Class of 2022 star has given his verbal commitment to new Illini head football coach Bret Bielema.

Rochester WR Hank Beatty made the announcement this afternoon.  He grabbed the attention of several colleges after his sophomore season, when he helped the Rockets to the Class 5A state championship.

The 5'11", 175-pound Beatty had several offers, including Air Force, Central Michigan, Iowa State, and Northern Illinois.  He becomes the first in-state player to commit to the Illini.

More on Beatty's big announcement and other Illini prospects to come on IlliniGuys.com.
