INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - -Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 21 points and hit two free throws with 26 seconds left as Indiana stunned 16th ranked Illinois 65-63 to continue its quest for an NCAA tournament bid.

The Hoosiers (20-12) followed up its performance in the Big Ten tournament opener when they outscored a favored Michigan team 28-4 down the stretch to pull off the surprise win.  Indiana led for much of the second half and, just like in the Michigan game, took advantage of errors by their opponents.

Kofi Cockburn led Illinois (22-9) with 23 points and ten rebounds, but the Big Ten regular season co-champs were plagued by missed free throws and a number of missed layups and shots inside.  When Indiana's Miller Kopp missed the front end of a one-and-one opportunity with 10 seconds left, Illinois' Andre Curbelo grabbed the rebound and sprinted down the length of the court and missed a potential game winning layup.  It capped a day of frustration for the Illini, who were aiming for their first repeat Big Ten tournament championship.

The loss spoils a career-high 18-point effort by Coleman Hawkins.  The sophomore forward, starting his second consecutive game in place of the injured Jacob Grandison, was Illinois' most consistent shooter.  Hawkins hit a team high 4-of-7 from three point range and was 5-of-10 overall.

Senior Trent Frazier scored 11 points in his final Big Ten game.  The loss ends Illinois' four-game win streak over Indiana.
