NCAA Clears Illinois Guard Mihailo Petrovic

(NOTE: this story first posted to IlliniGuys.com Sunday afternoon. On Monday afternoon, university officials issued a press release confirming the NCAA's action and that the organization will recognize Petrovic as a sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.)

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The final piece of the puzzle for the Illinois men’s basketball program has fallen into place.

Sources tell lliniGuys that guard Mihailo Petrovic, from Prokuplje, Serbia, has officially been cleared by the NCAA and will suit up this season . . .
