Jeremy Fears scored 26 points and dished out 15 assists to drop Illinois 85-82 in overtime and end the Illinois 12 game winning streak. Illinois struggled to shoot the ball, making just 37% of their attempts and hitting just 28% from 3 and the Spartans hurt Illinois on the glass, outrebounding them by 10 and grabbing 15 offensive boards as they moved back into the Big Ten title race.
