Okay…the 2023 Illini Football Season Evaluation Begins Now

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Okay, the preseason is over. The 2023 season for Illinois begins now. 

Yes, I know Illinois has played four games throughout the month of September but they might as well have been preseason contests because none of the goals inside the Smith Family Football Complex have yet to be challenged in any way.

The losses at Kansas and to No. 7 Penn State are practically irrelevant to the goals this program set out to achieve . . .
