CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — In today’s college football landscape, roster movement is constant. Programs lose players and gain others, often in rapid succession. Illinois added another piece to its roster through the transfer portal with the commitment of defensive lineman Carter Janki, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound transfer from Penn.

Janki arrives in Champaign as a proven interior presence with a productive Ivy League career . . .
