Ked's Recruiting Roundup: Illinois Targeting 2028 Quarterback Early

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois continues to identify its future at the most important position on the field, and one early name near the top of the board is Hunter Hochbaum, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound dual-threat quarterback from Mater Dei Catholic High School in Breese, Illinois. A member of the class of 2028, Hochbaum has already drawn interest from several college programs and has begun making visits as his recruitment gains momentum.
