CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The NCAA transfer portal has become the focal point of college basketball roster building in recent years, and few have adapted to that trend as efficiently as Illinois head coach Brad Underwood. Since the NCAA relaxed its transfer rules, Underwood and his staff have utilized the portal to bring in experienced talent and fill roster needs.
