Ked's Recruiting Roundup: 2025 PG Fears De-commits From Illini

Champaign, IL - Early this afternoon, IlliniGuys learned that 2025 point guard Jeremiah Fears decommitted from Big Ten champion Illinois and has re-opened his recruitment.

The 6-foot-3 guard Joliet native, who currently plays at Compass Prep in Arizona, has been weighing this decision for several weeks, apparently right after he spent time at the Ubben Basketball Complex on campus working out and scrimmaging with would-be future teammates Ty Rodgers and Kylan Boswell, among others.

His father Jeremy Fears Sr. emphasized the decision was not a reflection on . . .
