CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The buzz around Illinois’ 2025 women’s basketball recruiting class was unmistakable long before the players arrived on campus. Touted as one of the most decorated classes in recent memory, the five-player group carried both international flair and homegrown promise. As the season nears its close and postseason conversations intensify, one freshman in particular has validated the hype and perhaps exceeded it.
