CHAMPAIGN — In his first four seasons as the head football coach at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Bret Bielema has declined to produce any form of a player depth chart. With more immediate avenues of player movement, Illinois coaches have taken a conservative route to making public where players stand in terms of playing time and roles on the 74-player travel roster.
