Illini Maintain Top 8 Spot Following Day 1 of 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships

Despite collectively falling off in the final holes once again, Illinois found itself inside the top eight after the first day of the 2025 NCAA Championships.

While leaning on the talents of its star trio, Illinois managed to hang onto one of the top eight match play qualifying spots following the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Championships.
