Illinois stopped Nebraska from making a field goal for the final five minutes of action to turn a seven-point deficit into a 74-73 win on Senior Day in Champaign.

CHAMPAIGN — With five minutes remaining, Illinois head coach Shauna Green called a timeout and whipped around to yell out the obvious problem with her team.

“We can’t guard them,” Green exclaimed as she stared at her bench of coaches and reserve players as the scoreboard showed Nebraska up 71-64 . . .
