TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Gretchen Dolan poured in a career-best 25 points and Illinois rallied from an early double-digit deficit to post an 86-63 rout of Florida State.

The Illini fell behind 21-9 as they missed six straight shots and committed three turnovers in the opening minutes. But they rallied to outscore the Seminoles by 20 points to take a 42-34 lead at halftime with Dolan as the catalyst. The junior scored nine of her points after the Illini fell behind, then put in 16 points after halftime to eclipse her previous career high of 18 points scored against Illinois State two weeks ago.

Maddie Webber scored 10 of her 13 points, her best effort as an Illini, in the first half including consecutive three-pointers to keep Illinois (4-1) in the game. Jasmine Brown-Hagger scored 12 and team leading scorer Berry Wallace settled for a season-low 10 points. Lety Vasconcelos scored eight points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Illinois controlled the game for most of the afternoon, scoring 22 points off Florida State turnovers and getting 40 points in the paint compared to 26 for the Seminoles, who managed just 27 percent shooting after the first quarter.

Florida State (3-4) was led in scoring by Sole Williams, who was the only Seminole in double figures with 18.

Illinois returns home to face Western Kentucky on Wednesday (6pm, BTN Plus).
