The Illinois Fighting Illini are returning to the NCAA tournament for the second straight year, playing as the #4 seed in the South Regional against 13th seeded Chattanooga.  The game will tip-off at 4:50pm CT in Pittsburgh on Friday.

The Illini finished the season at 22-9 and won their first share of a Big Ten regular season title since 2005.  Illinois won five of their last seven games, including a 65-63 upset loss to Indiana in the Big Ten quarterfinals on Friday.

Illinois ended an eight-year NCAA tournament drought last March when they entered as a #1 seed.  They defeated Drexel in their opener before losing to Loyola Chicago in the round of 32.
