Around The Big Ten - October 26th

October 26, 2023

2nd ranked Michigan has the week off, but still dealing with the scandal that seems more problematic than anything they have faced on the field this season.  Has your team sold tickets to a guy named Connor Stallions?  He was a no-show at Ohio Stadium last weekend as this NCAA probe continues to deepen.

Whoever takes over the Michigan State football program has a massive clean-up and restoration project ahead.  With a month left in the season, no fewer than five players have announced intentions to enter the transfer portal since head coach Mel Tucker was fired for cause in late September.   NIL payments have stopped, the team has lost five straight after a 2-0 start, and the program and school took a PR hit when an image of Adolf Hitler popped up on the stadium videoboard as part of a trivia contest.  At least they have their health?
