It seems unlikely that Michigan football will receive any repercussions this season for this fast-developing sign-stealing scandal that apparently has drawn the ire of its Big Ten brethren.  But reportedly representatives of other league partners joined commissioner Tony Petitti on a conference call that got heated and allegedly included demands for actions against the unbeaten and 3rd ranked Wolverines, who have fashioned a near-perfect record during the three-year span in question.

Meanwhile, Ohio State - which never climbed higher than #3 in any Associated Press poll this season - got a lot more respect from the College Football Playoff folks, as they took the top spot in that group's first rankings.

The Buckeyes are at Rutgers, looking to remain perfect against the Scarlet Knights since they joined the Big Ten.

Iowa and Northwestern meet every season, as members of the Big Ten's West Division.  But this time, it's at Wrigley Field, which has a football history stretching back more than a century.

#11 Penn State visits Maryland while trying not to look ahead to a home date with Michigan next week.  The once-beaten Nittany Lions still have a share of the Big Ten East title in their sights.
