CHAMPAIGN, Ill. –Spring has become one of the busiest times on the basketball recruiting calendar, and Illinois continues to keep a close eye on some of the nation's top high school prospects.

The latest player to receive an Illinois scholarship offer is 2027 point guard Cayden Daughtry. The Illini extended an offer just days after Daughtry delivered a dominant performance on the Nike EYBL circuit.

For Illinois, offering Daughtry was an easy decision.
