CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Hank Beatty led all Illinois receivers in targets, receptions and play snaps in the 24-6 win over Maryland. However, it is the plays where the fourth-year leader didn’t touch the football where Illini offensive coordinator Barry Lunney Jr. and third-year starting quarterback Luke Altmyer both learned more about the Terrapins defensive plan on Saturday.
