California Dreamin’ Again: Illini Share NCAA Urbana Regional Title With Oklahoma State

For the 17th time in 18 appearances, Illinois will be advancing to the NCAA Championships after managing to share the 2025 NCAA Urbana Regional at Atkins Golf Club.

URBANA, Ill. — The Illinois men’s golf program can consider the mission accomplished at another NCAA regional - sort of.

Mike Small’s Illini team failed to hold onto a three-shot overnight lead as the home team earned a tie with No. 2 ranked Oklahoma State for the team regional championship to complete its first regional hosting assignment . . .
