CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The distance from Florida to Champaign is 1,112 miles and roughly a 17-hour drive, but that hasn’t stopped high school football talent from heading north to play for the University of Illinois. The Fighting Illini have just received a commitment from linebacker Tony Williams.
Williams' commitment gives Illinois five players from the Sunshine State in the 2026 class—matching the total from the 2025 class.
