Terrence Shannon Preliminary Hearing Set For February 23rd

As expected, Illinois guard Terrence Shannon's initial appearance in a Kansas court netted little with the exception of his preliminary hearing being set for February 23rd.

Shannon appeared via Zoom for his arraignment on a felony rape charge stemming from an incident in September.  He remains suspended from all team activities as he awaits the ruling from a federal court judge on his request for a temporary restraining order.

The Illini are in Ann Arbor to take on Michigan tonight, the sixth game they have played without their leading scorer.
