Now that we're getting some clarity on who's coming and going in the portal, It finally seems safe to start writing about the newcomers. The first player to commit to Illinois from the portal this year is a guy who I really like. The staff made Lavon Williams of East Texas A&M a priority and he was on campus as soon as the starting gun for portal season went off. Williams came to East Texas A&M as a corner/safety and though he had virtually no interest . . .
